Advertisers - More Advertisers
Dear Friends,
We hope you all enjoy the August edition of your United Benefice magazine - a slightly smaller edition during the quieter holiday period. Thank you, as always, to all those who have contributed, especially Gill Hargreaves and Sheila Parker, who have kindly reported on recent services and events.
Thank you also to our photographers. Can you spot yourself among photos taken by Richard Jones at July’s celebratory lunch? August’s edition also contains several colourful floral photos, taken by Jeff Price, at the community garden at Samlesbury War Memorial Hall.
Thank you to the following three local businesses which have joined our community of advertisers this month:
· AP Landscaping Limited
· Elvey’s Removals (Man & Van Service)
· My Adventure Campers
Karina’s Crafty Creations have amended their advert to share details of a UV Resin Workshop, which will take place on 20th August.
Please see our advert supplements for details of our new businesses, and information of how to book a place at the resin workshop, and please continue to return the support given to us by all our local advertisers, whenever you can.
Upcoming events featured in this month’s posters supplement include:
· The Pop-Up Café at Mellor Village Hall (5th August)
· Samlesbury Lunch Club (11th August)
· Charity Cricket Match at Cherry Tree Cricket Club (28th August)
· Mellor Village Show at Mellor Village Hall (3rd September)
· 100 Year Anniversary Celebrations for Samlesbury War Memorial Hall (9th September)
· United Benefice Vision Action Planning Away Day (30th September)
Anyone is welcome to write for the magazine. Please can all contributions and updates for September’s magazine be emailed by Monday, 28th August. Thank you.
