Dear Friends,    Please find attached your April 2023 United Benefice Magazine, which is full of good news to be celebrated. This ranges from a wonderful turnout at The Spring Workday at St Leonard’s, Balderstone, to an extremely successful first Pizza and Praise Service at St Mary’s, Mellor, to the fantastic charity work of our Samlesbury Rose Queen, at St Leonard the Less, and the recent Charity Coffee Morning at Samlesbury War Memorial Hall.    This month, as we begin with Holy Week, our magazine contains details of the daily services which are planned across the three churches of our United Benefice, as we journey together through from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday.    Thank you to all who have contributed to our magazine. Dear Friends,     Please find attached our March 2023 United Benefice Magazine, along with our event posters supplement and two advert supplements. Thank you, as always, to everyone who has contributed.     This month, as well as being full of information about local groups, events and services, the magazine contains a number of articles with opportunities to help and contribute locally. These are both in terms of donating a small amount of time to church or churchyard maintenance and gardening and also in terms of making donations to The Children’s Storehouse, Blackburn Foodbank and Chorley & District Support for Ukraine.
