Our dear friend Frank Ashton, organist and choirmaster of St Mary's for 43 years, passed away on 1st April. His funeral will be held in church at 1.30 pm on Thursday 21st April and the choir will sing. There will be a choir practice for the service in church on Wednesday 20th at 6.30pm. All current and former choir members are invited to attend, both the practice and the funeral, to give thanks for his service to God, our church and the choir and, of course, to celebrate his life! God bless you Frank and rest in peace.

 

  United Benefice Magazine     Thank you to all the contributors who have provided articles for this month’s magazine. It’s great to have such a wide variety of articles from across our United Benefice.      We now have a diary dates section within the magazine, which we hope will prove useful to you as we look forward to several upcoming events.      This month’s children’s activity is also within the main magazine.
