Advertisers  -  More Advertisers Dear Friends, Here is your Summer edition of our United Benefice Magazine, for July and August, which is certainly one of our busiest magazines to date. June was definitely a busy month, locally, and we are pleased to share reports from recent special occasions, including our United Benefice Confirmation Service, St Leonard’s Afternoon Tea at Balderstone,  Samlesbury’s Garden Party, the 80th Anniversary of D-Day Beacon Lightings and the Bicentenary Celebration of Mellor Brook Community Centre.   Thank you to everyone who has contributed news items and photos, particularly to those who have recently been appointed to key roles in our United Benefice. If you can, then please browse this month’s magazine for how to help.       Early Summer is certainly a busy time across our United Benefice. As always, we have news from so many areas of our United Benefice and we thank all our regular contributors for their articles.
