Dear Friends,
Please find attached your April 2023 United Benefice Magazine, which is full of good news to be celebrated. This ranges from a wonderful turnout at The Spring Workday at St Leonard’s, Balderstone, to an extremely successful first Pizza and Praise Service at St Mary’s, Mellor, to the fantastic charity work of our Samlesbury Rose Queen, at St Leonard the Less, and the recent Charity Coffee Morning at Samlesbury War Memorial Hall.
This month, as we begin with Holy Week, our magazine contains details of the daily services which are planned across the three churches of our United Benefice, as we journey together through from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday.
Thank you to all who have contributed to our magazine. This edition includes our first contribution from Samlesbury Young Farmers. Anyone is welcome to write for the magazine, so if you are part of a local group which would like to share their news, please contact us. Equally, if you are at a local event or a service and take any photos, which you are happy to share, please do get in touch.
