URGENT NEED FOR FOOD FOR REFUGEES
Email from Aderyn Turner forwarded to the United Benefice by Paul Daunton.
Good morning everyone,
Please see email below from Aderyn Turner, one of our parishioners regarding items desperately needed for the Refugee centre in Blackburn.
This is of particular importance given the ongoing situation in Afghanistan, so please support this where you can.
Kind regards
Paul

Subject: food for refugees
Dear Peter
As a volunteer I have been requested to advertise an urgent need for food and toiletries to be distributed to asylum seekers and refugees on Fridays at Wesley hall. If anyone can provide anything from the list it will be greatly appreciated. Please deliver to the back of Wesley Hall between 9.30 and 11.00 am on Fridays.
Any of the following items are particularly needed.
cereals (not porridge) . cooking oil, long life milk, tins of fish (not meat)
coffee, tea, sugar, tins of vegetables, fruit, tomatoes, sweet corn etc,
pasta sauce, red lentils, noodles, biscuits, shampoo, toilet rolls, soap,
I'd be really grateful f you could email this among parishioners and if possible to Mellor and Samlesbury as well.
With many thanks
Aderyn Turner
