Please note a change of time at St Mary's Church, Mellor now 9am - 12pm and 4pm -5pm "Dear Friends,  Following the sad news of the death of Queen Elizabeth II this evening, our churchwardens have kindly made arrangements for our churches to be open for private prayer on Friday, 9th September.    For anyone who wishes to attend church for private prayer, our three United Benefice churches will be open at the following times.  St Leonard's, Balderstone, from 10:00am – 4:00pm  St Mary’s, Mellor, from 9:00am – 10:00am and again from 5:00pm – 6:00pm  St Leonard the Less, Samlesbury, from 10:30am – 12:00pm  Kind regards,  Michael Oddie  Church Administrator  United Benefice of Balderstone, Mellor & Samlesbury "
